Education student wins best presentation

Applied Linguistics PhD student, Ruolin Hu, has won the best student presentation (Education, Childhood and Youth pathway) at the White Rose Social Science DTC (WRDTC) 6th Annual Conference.

The WRDTC conference, held at University of Sheffield on Thursday 29 June 2017, had over 100 PhD students from Universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield take part, with around 30 in the Education pathway, of which just five were shortlisted for presentaions.

The title of Ruolin's presentation was 'Examining the relationship between test preparation, repeated testing, IELTS scores and academic attainment'.
