Shakespeare's Rivals Solo Series - Five Middeltonian Soloists available to watch

Following the launch of Shakespeare's Rivals (supported by CREMS) in October 2019 with two public performances, the first five Middelton solos are now available to watch on the project's newly-laucnhed website.

The project had planned a larger-scale public sequel to this first experiment in June 2020, devoted to city comedy; but the pandemic made that impossible. Since summer 2020, however, the project has continued explorations online, via the auspices of Zoom, by rehearsing an array of solliloquies by different playwrights.

The website launches with a sample of work in the form of performances of five solliloquies by character's in Middleton's Women Beware Women.
