C2D2 sponsors York Festival of Ideas

Diabetes, North-South health inequalities, TB and nutrition are some of the subjects covered in this year's Festival programme

C2D2 is pleased to once again be a sponsor of this year's York Festival of Ideas. Established in 2011 to celebrate York as a seedbed of innovative and transformative ideas, the York Festival is now in its third year and has an ever-growng reputation.

The theme of this year's Festival is North and South and there are a number of talks and other events that look at issues of chronic diseases and disorders in this context. As media headlines proclaim that the North-South health divide is widening, there is the opportunity to find out more about the divide, its history, why it exists, and how it can be improved, both within the UK and across the world.
