Biography

Vasileios was appointed to the School for Business and Society as lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) in Accounting & Finance in November 2020. Prior to this, Vasileios fulfilled a college lecturer role at the City of Glasgow college since 2017, where he also taught on an international level to a college partner in China on various occasions throughout the years. He is currently in the process of completing his PhD in Accounting and Finance at the University of Glasgow, investigating the use of various control systems in the risk management process of public sector organisations.

Vasileios has a BSc in Economics from the University of Patras, Greece, and an MSc in Corporate Governance and Accountability from the University of Glasgow. He is also a member of CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), holding a Certificate in Business Accounting.
