National Student Survey 2022

Posted on 6 July 2022

We’re delighted to have some of the happiest marketing students in the UK.

The School for Business and Society has placed 1st out of the Russell Group universities for 'Overall Satisfaction' for the subject of Marketing in the 2022 National Student Survey (NSS), with a score of 91%.

The NSS is a nationwide survey of final-year students in higher and further education that encourages them to give honest feedback about a variety of aspects of their university experience, including their department and course. This helps prospective students to make informed choices and also influences real change in future students’ experiences, from institution-level to course-level.

The School placed highly for marketing within the Russell Group in two of the assessed areas:

  • Assessment and feedback (3rd)
  • Overall Satisfaction (1st)

Professor Bob Doherty, Head of Department

“We have a great team of Marketing academics who have developed a really interesting contemporary BSc (Hons) Marketing programme including digital, ethical and international aspects of marketing. Furthermore, we are also accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing”.
