URGENT - Closure 17th March 2020

On Tuesday 17th March the Borthwick Institute for Archives will be closed.

The Borthwick will be closed on Tuesday 17th March as part of preparations taking place in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

We will be responding to enquiries by email but will be unable to receive enquiries by telephone.

Please note that the microform room will also be closed.

Many of our Parish registers, Bishops’ Transcripts and Marriage Bonds and Allegations are available via Find My Past, and our Cause Papers, Archbishops' Registers, and Retreat hospital archive are available, for free, 24/7 online.
