Copy of the Register of Baptisms of the Parochial Chapel of Ystread Meiru in the County of Cardigan and Diocese of St David's
"April 1st 1804 being Easter Day, Charles Williamson, a Mulatto, born in the Province of Bengal and said [by the Gentleman and Lady who brought him over and delivered him to my Tuition] to be in his 14th year, after having been a Catchumen for two years, was this day Baptized after the form of Baptism of those of riper years."

I John Williams Clerk, Head Master of the Free Grammar School of Ystrad Meiru Baptized the above person, and made the above Entry at the very time, and now transcribed it accurately.
