Your support

Yorkies Biology

Yorkies Biology provides a new way to support your department financially. Monies raised will benefit The Biology Alumni Fund which is a totally new initiative. Money raised through the Biology Alumni Fund will be directed towards helping students, for example in the form of studentships.

Opting to support Biology at York financially, to whatever degree, is an excellent way to help ensure the development of teaching and research programmes. Giving regularly, even just a small amount, will make a huge difference.

If you have a query about the Biology Alumni Fund please contact us by email at biohod@york.ac.uk or call York's Development and Alumni Relations Office on 01904 434794. Please remember to say that you wish your donation to go into the Biology Alumni fund!

Placement support - we need your help

As was the case when you were registered here at York, each biology and biochemistry degree course offers students the chance of a year in industry.

If you are now in a position to offer such opportunities within your company, please let us know by emailing Lorna Warnock at lorna.warnock@york.ac.uk.
