An examination of the industrial, financial and creative processes behind British film and television output made between 2010 and 2024 and set during the British colonial era.

Biography

Biography

A seasoned film industry professional and experienced producer, executive and educator with a career spanning over thirty years. My expertise encompasses, film and television production, from blockbuster studio fare to micro-budget features via factual television. I ran national emerging talent initiative iFeatures, key course modules at the National Film and Television School where I am now an external industry assessor, and was a long-term member of the selection committee for the Locarno Film Festival Open Doors training and support program. Recent credits include Stopmotion by Rob Morgan, Nightborn by Hanna Berg and The Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Hope Dickson Leach. I have a BA in English & Drama from Goldsmiths and a MA in Chinese Studies (Cinema) from SOAS.
