Thesis

Thesis - Casting the Audience: Developing a Practical Framework of Audience Roleplay through Devised Interactive Theatre Dramaturgies

My research by creative practice explores audience roleplay as a mode of interaction in theatre performance through experimental workshops and the development of an interactive framework to be used in devising audience roleplay theatre. My research delves into the type of roleplay audiences can undertake, how it is achieved, and how it interacts with important concepts like play, interactivity, immersion, liveness, co-presence, and performance.
