Profile

Lorianne Hall is a prominent international producer and entertainment executive in the global film industry. Over the course of her 25-year career she has developed projects for New Line Cinema, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Warner Bros. and has developed over 150 projects in 5 different territories. As a European Acquisitions Executive, she acquired over 200 film & TV titles for international distribution throughout Europe and The Middle East. She has produced four independent feature films; comedy SOUL BOY (BBC) starring Oscar nominee Felicity Jones, Martin Compston and Alfie Allen, Iranian animation THE LAST FICTION (Iran’s official selection for the International Animation Oscar), thriller TWO GRAVES (Netflix) starring Cannes winner Katie Jarvis, Dave Johns and David Hayman, and CAGEFIGHTER starring Gina Gershon and Jonathan Good. In post-production is SHOPLIFTERS OF THE WORLD, a coming of age comedy that features music from The Smiths based on her own semi-autobiographical story. Miss Hall is also a consultant for The European Commission – Creative Europe/MEDIA fund and has consulted for various European film funds including The Malta Film Commission, The Doha Film Institute, The British Council and The Irish Film Board. She is currently developing an original animated feature film and various dramatic feature projects. She is Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in film at the prestigious University of York in The United Kingdom.
