Janet Fulton (percussion)

Janet has been Principal Percussionist of the Manchester Camerata for over 40 years, and is part of the team that enabled the orchestra to become UK Centre of Excellence for Music and Dementia.  She also plays with the Halle and BBC Philharmonic, and works as a community composer, conductor, trainer and animateur. In 2019 she was the recipient of the only award given to an orchestral musician  by the RPS and ABO, The Salomon Prize.
