Biography

Industry experience includes many broadcast and corporate credits as DOP, Lighting Camera Operator and Camera Operator, including programmes for BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5. Director of Photography credits include six feature length Arts documentaries for the multi-award winning producer Tony Palmer, a BBC Timewatch documentary filmed in the Guatemalan jungle, Single Camera Operator on several episodes of The Bill for ITV, Lighting Camera Operator on Temptation Island, a year in Former Yugoslavia filming during the war for United Nations Television and numerous other productions filmed worldwide.

I have extensive knowledge in professional digital cinematography technologies and industry standard practices and have used numerous high end camera systems and am familiar with production workflows. I have extensive practical knowledge, experience, and skills in the following areas: production techniques, film and video editing, camera techniques, digital video production and lighting design.

Several productions have won awards and I was invited to be a judge for the Royal Television Society Drama Photography Award in 2015.

Following a move up to York in 2015, I set up a production company and have produced over 50 short films for the heritage and corporate sectors.
