Samantha is the ZooMS research technician at BioArCh. She has a BSc in Archaeological and Forensic Science from Bournemouth University, an MSc in Bioarchaeology from the University of York and has completed her PhD at the University of York investigating the survival of proteins in palaeontological material. Prior to taking up this role in January 2020, she worked as a research technician in the North East amino acid racemisation laboratory.
Samantha provides laboratory and administrative support to researchers and students utilising Zooarchaeology through Mass Spectrometry (ZooMS).
