The Careers Service and the Alumni Relations Team are launching a dynamic new event with the Students’ Union and Graduate Students’ Association to help students explore professions and make connections across a range of sectors.
The event, which will take place on 6 March from 6:15pm to 8:30pm in the Physics / Electronics Exhibition Centre, gives students an exciting opportunity to hear from experts in a range of professions, and gain informal advice and support.
There will be a panel Q&A session in each of the sector strands outlined below, followed by informal drinks, canapés and live music.
York Students TV and University Radio York will broadcast from the event.
Companies represented include HSBC, Aviva, DLA Piper, Ernst & Young, Dickinson Dees, Santander, KPMG and a number of fund managers.
Companies represented include The Independent, BBC (TV and Radio 1), ITV, Oberon Books, Faber & Faber and Sky.
Organisations represented include NGOs, the NSPCC, various museums, The Department for Culture, Media and Sport, local government and NHS Management.
