Internationalizing Chinese Universities: opportunities and challenges

Dr. Daibo Chen, a visiting academic based within CRESJ, made a presentation at the University of Hull on 18 March 2015. Dr Chen and Dr. Sally Hancock were invited to attend the launch event of the East Asia Research Collaboration Network, which focused on New Forms of Internationalization in East and South Asia. In the presentation, Dr. Chen described some historical trends regarding internationalization in Chinese higher education and discussed current attempts in China to achieve ‘Internationalization at home’.
