Coronavirus: update summary

Covid-19 vaccination clinic on campus in June
There are plans for a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic on campus in mid June. Please complete the vaccine pre-registration form with your york.ac.uk email address to help us plan.

1. Get digital skills for employment

Digital Skills for Employment is a two-day event (7-8 June) to support postgraduate students as they transition into the digital workplace. With workshops from recent graduates, employers, and the Teaching and Learning and Careers teams, develop confidence in skills from data management to digital creativity. Book for individual sessions or sign up for both days.

2. National Volunteers’ Week

It’s Volunteers’ Week 2021 and Careers and Placements are celebrating the incredible contribution of our students with the Student Volunteering Awards. Applications are now open for volunteering roles in the summer vacation which can help you to gain work experience, boost your CV and grow your networks. Check out all volunteering opportunities.

3. Be a College Life Advisor in 2021/22

Will you still be studying with us next academic year? If so, you could be eligible to apply for the paid College Life Advisor roles. It's a great opportunity to enhance your CV, support other students and assist in college life. Application deadline: Sunday 6 June. Find out about the paid role.

4. Complete our nursery survey to win

Take part in our campus nursery and childcare survey to be in with a chance of winning an Apple watch or an iPad. With or without kids, we need your input! Complete the short nursery and childcare survey.
