The Academic Quality and Development team is pleased to announce that the York Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Symposium 2026 will be held on Wednesday 24 June 2026.

This free one-day, in-person event brings together colleagues to engage in constructive dialogue and share evidence-based inquiries into teaching and learning. The symposium offers an opportunity to demonstrate and disseminate how SoTL is being used to reshape our educational practices in teaching, curriculum design, assessment and feedback, and to support all students throughout their education journey.

2019 SoTL Colloquium

Professor Jane Pritchard gave keynote session on undertaking and publishing your SoTL, and other studies presented included research on dialogic pedagogy and assessment practices.
