Google organizes and provides accessible information to everyone.
What do you do?
In my day job I am responsible for a segment of our too partners in the region from verticals such as B2B Těch, finance or mobile gaming.
Reflecting upon your past employment and education, what led you to your current career choice?
N/A
Is your current job sector different from what you thought you would enter when you graduated?
Very much so. Before starting at Google I was always looking at a career in international law or diplomacy.
Describe your most memorable day at work
Working with the brightest and innovative leaders from the region every day.
Are there any challenges associated with your job?
Most days are organized chaos at best with a number of different initiatives at the same time.
What extracurricular activities did you undertake at university and what transferable skills did you develop through these?
Organizing the international film festival and playing volleyball for the 1st men team.
What top tips do you have for York students preparing for today’s job market and life after graduation?
Study interview techniques, believe in yourself, you are already on the right path to a successful career.
What topics from students are you happy to answer questions on?
Happy to discuss anything. Currently mostly focused on business, NGOs and career guidance.
