University Archive

What does the Archive hold?

The University Archive is the repository for the archives created by the University of York. It also holds the archives of the University's predecessor bodies, the York Academic Trust and York University Promotion Committee and former centres such as the York University Design Unit.

The archives chart the origins and development of the University, recording its principal activities, functions and decisions.
