My doctoral research focused on children’s working memory in educational settings. Its key aims were to examine how well parents understand the role of working memory in learning, how children with working memory difficulties can be identified more effectively, and how children’s working memory can feasibly be supported within the classroom.
My current research focuses on the impact of social media and smartphone use among young people, with a particular focus on how these behaviours may affect sleep, wellbeing, and cognition.
