I hold a double PhD in psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2018), and ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal (2019). Before joining the University of York, I worked in Norway, the United States, and Germany.

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) provides a unique non-invasive window into the human visual system, that can now operate across a broad spectrum of spatial scales.

I completed a BSc in psychology (2009), MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience (2010) and PhD in Visual Neuroscience at the University of York (2013).
