Welcome to new faculty

The Department warmly welcomes its new members of faculty, Professor Liz Meins and Dr Jonny Smallwood

Professor Liz Meins joins us from the University of Durham. Liz is researching mind-mindedness and predictors of children's development.


Dr Jonny Smallwood joins us from the Max Planck Institute.  His research focuses on understanding how the brain generates conscious experience and uses the tools of cognitive neuroscience to understand the processes that are engaged during states such as daydreaming or mind wandering.
