Title of Research:

China and ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative: A Post-Structuralist Reading

Brief overview of research topic:

My PhD thesis focuses on China’s mega-project – the Belt and Road Initiative from a post-structuralist perspective. It interrogates the underlying assumptions, discursive performance, and constitutive effects that make possible the articulation and final acceptance of BRI as a global initiative for economic governance.

My research interests include International Relations Theory, International Security, Foreign Policy Analysis, and the International Politics of Asia-Pacific.
