How Should the Premature Return Spree of Bangladeshi Female Migrant Domestic Workers from the Middle East be Confronted?
This study is to investigate the root causes of premature return of Bangladeshi female migrant domestic workers from the Middle East, and to assess whether the current national and international policies and mechanisms were effective to guarantee safety throughout the whole migration cycle. The investigation would recommend to the Bangladesh Government and potentially the other labour-sending countries, the required supportive measures to offset the return spree. Further, it would recommend measures to reduce the plight and cost of their return.
