First annoucement and call for papers and sessions - deadline for abstracts 31 May 2017
Medact and the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), together with the University of York, Hull and York Medical School, Medecins sans Frontieres (MSF) and other partners are hosting a gathering of health professionals, academics and civil society activists and organisations to discuss the need for more effective peace building and greater levels demilitarisation and social justice as preconditions for real human security. As part of this gathering, we are inviting researchers and academics to present papers on a range of themes and topics, and to suggest and organise entire sessions. Papers can be delivered either as presentations or posters.
