We are a large, diverse and inclusive community of academics and students. Our teaching philosophy is informed by our outstanding research culture, creating a learning environment where all students can thrive.

Our expertise spans theoretical and applied research. This includes specialist research in areas such as British and comparative politics, international development, international studies, peace and conflict studies, political economy, political philosophy and public policy. We work with policymakers around the globe to ensure our work has real-world impact.
