I have been a member of the Department of Philosophy at York since 2021, having worked on a number of research projects at the Department since 2019. I completed my PhD at the University of York in 2017 after completing my MA here.
My research has primarily been in the philosophy of mind, with a particular interest in memory and self-knowledge, and a focus on traumatic intrusion. I’m also interested in dreams and cognitive biases. I have worked on a number of projects related to complex trauma and others including corporate decision-making.
Outside of the Department, I engage with several philosophers of memory globally through the Philosophy of Memory Organization, and have ongoing collaborations with staff at Saint Paul University, Canada and Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil.
I am interested in supervising students working in philosophy of mind, especially memory and self-knowledge, those working in social/political epistemology, and on trauma.
