International Narrative Society Conference at MIT

The 2014 conference of the International Society for the Study of Narrative took place at MIT, and included a "narrative and complexity" panel organized by members of the NarCS group and two fictionality panels organized by members of the Fictionality network.

The 2014 conference of the International Society for the Study of Narrative took place at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts from March 27th to 29th. The programme included thirteen 9-panel parallel sessions, two plenary Contemporary Narrative Theory sessions, and three keynotes; it also honoured Hayden White with the Society's Wayne C. Booth Lifetime Achievement Award.

Speakers with connections to the ICNS included Richard Walsh, Marina Grishakova, Merja Polvinen, Louise Brix Jacobsen, Simona Zetterberg Gjerlevsen, Stefan Kjerkegaard, Ruth Schuldiner, Stefan Iversen and Henrik Nielsen (among others).
