In recent years, there has been increasing interest in creative-critical methodologies and approaches to research beyond conventional scholarly forms. This project engages the queer and feminist genealogies of, and practices in, this contemporary creative-critical turn.
Bringing together a network of scholars interested in creative-critical methods, the project offers a series of research events and impact activities. This will include events responding to Gloria E. Anzaldúa’s influential 1987 text Borderlands - a queer and feminist multilingual border manifesto blending poetry, personal memoir, history, and theory – as well as collaborative writing workshops, poetry readings, and a symposium on feminist creative critical forms.
