Eborakon launch party

Friday 28 November 2014, 6.30PM

Eborakon is a new biannual poetry journal based at the University of York and funded by a CModS small project grant. The first issue comes out this autumn, featuring poets Maureen McLane, Paul Mills, David Troupes, Miriam Gamble, and many more.

Derived from the Brythonic for York (meaning "place of the yews"), Eborakon seeks poetry that is rooted in places real or imagined, or in the radical matter of language itself. At the same time, it branches out to consider what is eldritch, original, experimental.
