Dr Jennie England

Jennie completed all her degrees at the University of York: BA in History, MA in Medieval Studies (at the Centre for Medieval Studies), and PhD in History, which was completed in 2018. After her PhD, Jennie held a Post-Doctoral position at the University of Exeter, during which she helped to curate an exhibition on Anglo-Saxon charters at Exeter Cathedral. Following this, she was the Heritage Learning Officer at St Mary’s Church, Beverley (East Riding of Yorkshire).

Jennie is now a researcher on the University of York’s StreetLife project, as well as the Research Co-ordinator at York Minster.
