Pathway degrees

Pathway degree students must take at least two of their modules from those designated to the relevant specialism.

How modules work

All taught MA and pathway degree students are required to study a core module, Research Skills in History of Art which students take in the first semester. 

In addition to this students will choose four optional modules, as well as writing a dissertation under the guidance of a supervisor.

Students may take up to two of their option modules from other departments at York and from the  interdisciplinary research centres.
