Student Voice

We would like to introduce you to Student Voice.

The Student Voice is essential to making the Department of Health Sciences become a more inclusive and collaborative environment. We are committed to working in partnership with you to enhance the overall quality of your student experience across ALL programmes. This means that we listen to and promote the Student Voice in all areas of our work.

The Department is keen to obtain feedback from you and welcomes your suggestions, comments, concerns and compliments. The time you take to offer feedback is hugely appreciated. We use your feedback – positive and developmental - to help make short and longer term improvements, both to your experience as a current student, but also for students of the future.

The Student Voice does not replace the Departmental Student Staff Forums nor does it replace your Departmental or Student Representatives. It is there to complement them.

The Student Voice activities include Student Focus Groups, departmental student survey (not to be confused with National Student Survey) and the student voice email account, the main communication tool for students around any subject or issue.

You can get in touch with the Student Voice team via email at: dohs-student-voice@york.ac.uk.
