Mike is a full time trauma, and hip and knee replacement surgeon with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Mike's research focusses on clinical outcomes and infection prevention, diagnosis and management.


  • Stryker - A randomised multicentre trial of 964 patients comparing the Thompsons stem with the Exeter/unitrax for hemiarthroplasty in patients with a proximal femoral fracture (chief investigator)
