Biography
Emily started as an Associate Lecturer in December 2018 to support nursing students in their practice placements. She qualified from the University of York in 2013 and has held posts within Oncology and Haematology. She has worked at the Christie Hospital as a cancer specialist and as a Chemotherapy nurse. She was also Deputy Sister on the Oncology and Haematology ward at York Hospital.
Emily set up a chemotherapy training programme for York and Scarborough nurses to assist them in becoming competent in the administration and care of patients undergoing cytotoxic treatment.
