Applications are invited for a full-time PhD studentship in health services research, funded through the prestigious White Rose ESRC Doctoral Training Centre (WR DTC) and hosted within the Department of Health Sciences to commence in October 2013.

Loneliness and older adults in care homes

Applications are invited for a full-time PhD studentship in health services research, funded through the White Rose ESRC Doctoral Training Centre (WR DTC) and hosted within the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. The studentship will commence in October 2013.

ESRC WR DTC scholarships are available on a +3 (PhD only, 3 years) basis. Candidates without research training at masters level may apply for 1+3 (Masters + PhD, four years).

Health Sciences at York is a member of the White Rose Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) in the Social Sciences, a major collaboration between the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. The White Rose DTC is one of the largest consortia in the country and offers a wealth of supervisory expertise across the social sciences as well as numerous training opportunities.
