Kerry began her career at the University in 1988 with NYS Travel, which was then a small student travel agency. Over the years, the agency grew into a large organisation supporting academics with their travel arrangements and corporate clients with conference planning. During this time, Kerry worked as a Senior Business Travel Consultant.
In February 2007, Kerry joined the Department of Health Sciences as a Research Secretary for the Mental Health Research Group. As the group expanded, she progressed into the role of Research Group Administrator, a position she held for 16 years.
After many years in the role, Kerry decided to reduce her hours to achieve a better work–life balance and take on a new challenge as a Project Support Officer (Research), allowing her to focus on supporting research projects.
Kerry's research interests lie in mental health.
