Profile

Biography

Charlotte qualified as a midwife from the University of York and worked as a rotational midwife in both hospital and community settings at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Whilst working clinically, she completed a Master of Public Health at the University of York.

In practice Charlotte was regularly involved in mentoring and supporting students and in 2021 she joined the University of Hull as a midwifery lecturer.

Whilst at the University of Hull Charlotte gained her Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

Charlotte joined the midwifery education team in York in January 2024.
