US accolade for Centre Director Professor Harriet Guest

Harriet Guest has been chosen to give the prestigious Special Address at the 2014 annual conference of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, which will be held in Williamsburg, Virginia, March 20-23.

The Special Address is a joint initiative of the American and British Societies for Eighteenth-Century Studies to sponsor scholarly exchange and encourage comparatist dialogue on important themes. Professor Guest’s nomination received the ‘unanimous and enthusiastic endorsement’ of the ASECS Executive Board.
