William Lyons specialises in the performance and research of medieval and renaissance music. He is a founder of the renowned early music ensemble The Dufay Collective with whom he has toured throughout the world and made a series of highly acclaimed recordings. He is also a music director, composer, performer and historical advisor at the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. He has also composed and arranged music for major feature films and television projects. William teaches at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music and is involved in ongoing research and recording projects with various period music ensembles.
