3-day Summer School on Embroidered Bindings, Amsterdam

The seminar will consider the range and variety of European embroidered bindings from the early modern period, and will bring them into conversation with a range of other embroidered objects and products. Participants will view embroidered bindings held in Netherlands special collections, and learn more about their conservation, new possibilities for 3-D imaging, and important recent research in the field.
