Alison Weir is the biggest-selling female historian in the United Kingdom since records began in 1997.
She has sold more than 1,000,000 books in the UK, and more than 1,300,000 books in the United States. Alison Weir is the 5th best-selling historian in the UK. (The top four are Antony Beevor, Stephen Ambrose, Simon Schama and Peter Ackroyd.)
