Emily is a Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis at CRD. Her research interests lie in public health and social policy, as well as knowledge mobilisation and the use of evidence in decision-making.
She completed an MSc in Comparative Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh in 2013, with particular interests in devolved policy-making, social inequalities and social security. Prior to joining CRD, Emily worked in knowledge management and evidence synthesis at Public Health England. This included working on a review of the evidence on the wider harms of alcohol.
