New PRISMA website launched

Posted on 29 October 2015

The new Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) website includes two new PRISMA extensions that CRD has been instrumental in developing http://www.prisma-statement.org

Lesley Stewart chaired the steering group that developed the PRISMA-IPD extension providing guidance for reporting systematic reviews with individual participant data meta-analysis. Mark Simmonds and Bob Phillips were also part of the development group. The guideline was published in April in JAMA. Lesley was also a member of the steering group that developed the PRISMA-P guideline for systematic review protocols and Alison Booth was a member of the wider PRISMA-P group. This built on the development work done when establishing PROSPERO, our NIHR funded prospective register of systematic review protocols, and was published in Systematic Reviews with elaboration in the BMJ in January.
