Overview

Matt is a postdoctoral research associate jointly working with Prof. Andrew Weller on a Leverhulme trust funded research project. This project is examining fundamental reactivity of solid/gas chemistry at late transition metal complexes in well-defined single-crystal environments, with a focus on hyperpolarisation catalysis of simple gaseous substrates and how that can be applied to the synthesis of extremely reactive organometallic complexes with very weakly coordinating ligands.
