Biography

Wendy joined the Centre for Applied Human Rights (CAHR) in April 2024. She is an administrator on the Beyond Compliance Consortium research programme “Building evidence on promoting restraint by armed actors”. This academic-practitioner, co-productive research partnership aims to provide the empirical evidence, the conceptual framework, and actionable, actor-targeted strategies to prevent, reduce and respond to harm and need in armed conflict. 

Wendy has worked at the University of York since 2015 and prior to joining CAHR worked in various project management and coordination roles.
