Liz works part-time and is the Co-ordinator for York: Human Rights City.
She holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law and Practice, studied through CAHR, as well as an MSC in Manufacturing Leadership (University of Leeds), an MA in the Social Sciences (Open University) and a BSc in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Durham. Her background is in Operations Management within the private sector, although she is a trustee for two local charities. She is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
