Profile

Biography

Emma joined the Centre of Applied Human Rights in March 2015 and is a Research Associate focusing on the role of higher education in protection. Emma completed her MA in Education and International Development at the Institute of Education and UCL and is now a PhD student in the department of Education at the University of York. Her work focuses on higher education and marginalised groups and the protection of knowledge. She is particularly interested in collaborative research approaches and digital storytelling. Emma is also the student representative for the British Association for International Comparative Education (BAICE) and is an Associate Lecturer at the Open University teaching International Comparative Education.
