CAHR MA student talks about political activism today at YPFP Brussels

CAHR MA student, Venezuelan Fulbright scholar Kenther Ramos will talk about political activism today at YPFP Brussels on 19 June.

CAHR MA student and Fulbright Scholar Kenther Ramos will be speaking about political activism today at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) in Brussels on 19 June. In his talk Kenther will talk about his experience as a political activist in Venezuela, how he envisages activism in the current political climate, and how we can play a role in positively influencing and affecting government for the betterment of society.

Kenther is a Venezuelan political activist who became a political prisoner at the age of 16 due to his student activism. He fled to the US in 2004 where he now lives as a citizen, and continues advocating for human rights and social justice.

YPFP is is an organisation that aims to foster the next generation of foreign policy leaders in Europe. The event is part of the US-EU Platform on migration and social integration with the 28 member states of the EU.
